About the Psychologist
Akanksha Chaudhary is an RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive clinical and academic experience. Alongside her clinical practice, she has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, combining evidence-based clinical practice with teaching, mentoring, and mental health awareness.
She completed her Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rajasthan, M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University Rajasthan, and Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (PGDGC) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Throughout her professional journey, Akanksha has worked across private hospitals, mental health clinics, schools, and academic institutions, gaining experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, counselling, and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
She has training in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Marital Therapy, Family Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Supportive Psychotherapy.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, ethical, and client-centred. She focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals can understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and develop practical strategies for improving emotional well-being and resilience.
Alongside her clinical work, she has experience as a School Psychologist, supporting the emotional, behavioural, and academic well-being of children and adolescents. As an educator, she is also committed to mentoring and preparing future mental health professionals through practical and evidence-based learning.
